About the Design

Pekapeka-tou-roa, New Zealand's Long-Tailed bat, who snuck its way in to be crowned winner of Bird of the Year 2021! It's not a bird, but it can sure fly. I'm sure our native birds wouldn't mind our pekapeka/bats being NZ's only native mammals to join their crew.

One size to fit most faces, mask measures approximately 7.25 x 4.625-inches to cover both your nose and your mouth. Printed on one side with a white backside. Reusable and machine washable, all masks should be properly sanitized after each use per CDC guidelines. Washing Recommendations Hand wash or machine-wash in cold water using an all-purpose detergent between each wearing. Tumble-dry at a low temperature setting. Do not use fabric softener or overly dry. For additional cleaning, use a steam cleaner or the steam setting on your iron. Press or steam clean both sides at a moderate temperature. Note: This mask is NOT intended for medical or healthcare workers, and should not be confused with N95 respirators or other personal protective equipment (PPE).
